Wolf and the Seven Little Goats
This project will involve producing sample pages for the children's fable 'Wolf and the Seven Little Goats', the Grimms version of the tale can be read here!
I will be producing everything from Character concepts, through character reference sheets, Pagination sheet and final double page spread illustrations, as well as a front/back/spine illustration.

Wolf Concept
For the Wolf I have worked with angular/triangular shapes to develop an intimidating (yet simply shaped) antagonist.

Goat Kids Concept
The Goat kids will all share the same body type with variants to define them - such as different heads, markings and colours. The bodies are bean shaped with the rest of their designs comprised of soft, round and 'friendly' shapes to contrast them to the wolf.

Pagination Sheet
This document shows an initial concept for the page flow of this fable as a 32 page colouring book. There are variations of pages underneath sections, following the text breakdown linked at the beginning of this page.
Colour Sheets
Colour concepts for the Goat Children including palette, and basic line sketch breakdowns. All female goats have green eyes, males have blue, and the 'main' goat kid (Billie) has big brown eyes.

Final Pages & Front Cover
These are my final pages depicting 3 adjoining double page spreads, and front & back cover mockup. In these scenes the wolf gains entry to the goats house, gobbles the goat kids up, and naps under a tree before the mother goat cuts them out!
Each page works to a 5x7" double page format with bleed.
