As promised, here is some of my preliminary concept sketches for the design of the Wolf, for the 'Wolf and the Seven Little Goats' fable children's book that I am illustrating samples for. This first post highlights my preliminary sketches for the Wolf character - do you have a favourite? Mine are the sad round ones - but they don't look scary enough! I decided to focus on sharp, angular and triangular shapes designing the Wolf, to represent his typical antagonistic personality traits!
