On March 19th the last known male northern white Rhinoceros passed away, leaving only his daughter and granddaughter left in existence, both are guarded 24/7 by armed men. It shouldn't be like this.
He was called Sudan and was 45 years old.
Not many Rhino's get the privilege to pass from old age...
Rhinos have always been a favourite species of mine, as such I felt the need to illustrate something. Should you feel the need, you can adopt a rhino like me through the WWF.
